| The Good Night (2007) | |
| While at Capel Manor, I was invited to advise the production team for the 2007 movie, "The Good Night" starring Gwyneth Paltrow, Danny DeVito, Penelope Cruz and Martin Freeman much of which was filmed in the house and garden. My role was to oversee the modifications to the garden that were required to make it work for the movie. One of the main difficulties was trying to fake the season - the film was set in spring time but filmed in the autumn which posed a number of challenges! It was a great experience though and the production team were grateful for my input. Most importantly, my clients were happy too with my stewardship of the garden during the filming process. By the way, the movie's a good one if you haven't seen it. |
